Happy December! I still can’t believe it’s December already. I finally decorated the house for Christmas yesterday with the help of my amazing little helper. Ha, I wish…he actually just got completely distracted by the lights on the Christmas tree. I am so excited for this holiday season! My son is a little older this year and seems to be noticing more about what is going on this year than he did last year. I’m not doing any sort of advent (though I want to try the one where you do a fun activity or craft next year!) but I am doing a few things to with him. I have a few coloring pages, we are reading about the birth of baby Jesus in his little toddler Bible, and I made some red and green play dough for him to eat play with. 😉
Anyway, since it’s the first day of December, I thought I would feature a cozy winter outfit today! I just finished putting together my winter capsule wardrobe on Tuesday and I am so excited about all the sweaters and cozy things!

This sweater is so soft and actually pretty warm. It is pretty thin; think borderline just a long sleeved shirt. But it does keep me very warm…and the Pom Pom Beanie (similar without pom pom) and scarf help a lot too! I just love a good beanie with a pouf on top! 🙂 Oh, so a little styling note on my scarf. This is just a regular scarf. I tied the corners together and wear it as an infinity scarf most of the time. If I want to wear it like a regular scarf again, I can just untie them. (TADA! 😉 )
I am obsessed with these leggings! I got them last year at Macy’s for like $10 (say what!??!) and I wear them all the time! I like that there is the leather on the side so I have that look without wearing full on leather leggings. And of course, I had to pair with my favorite black riding boots that I bought a few years ago back when I worked at Loft.
Anyway, that’s about it for today. Share with me any fun Christmas activities to do with toddlers in the comments below! I need more ideas! 😉
