Happy Friday! I was hoping to have this post up sooner this week, but I have been trying very hard to be more present with my son during the day… so that means not working on blog posts while he watches Curious George Christmas for the 400th time. (That show is seriously on repeat for him, haha, he can’t get enough of Curious George). We have been spending our days doing Christmas crafts, reading his three Christmas books over and over, baking, listening to Christmas music, taking pictures by the tree, and playing. I wish this month would slow down because I am seriously loving this season with my little guy. Anyway, on to todays topic!
One of my favorite things about Christmas is spending time with family and friends. I have always wanted to host another Christmas party (we did one once, ha!), but until we move out of our small apartment that will probably have to wait.
Today I wanted to show you a fun Christmas party outfit! When I think Christmas party, I usually think of dressing up a little (even though probably 98% of the parties we do go to are extremely casual, haha). There is just something so fun about dressing up for a Christmas party.

This red cocoon sweater dress (old from Old Navy) is one of my favorites because it can easily be dressed up like this for a party, or it can be a bit more casual. Plus, I love this color for the holiday season!
I have said it probably 800 times, but I really love blanket scarves. I love that there are so many different ways you can style them and I love that they can be causal or more dressed up looking. And they keep you warm!
I always love the look of high-heeled booties with black tights. It just screams Christmas party to me, haha.
And don’t forget about the accessories. I love gold jewelry (well all year round) but especially at Christmas. It is a fun and easy way to add a little extra sparkle to your holiday party look.
